{ lycopersicon esculentum }

Amish Paste is a heirloom tomato discovered in Wisconsin, although its origins are in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the heart of the Amish Country. The tomatoes are teardrop or heart–shaped with a brilliant red orange color. The Amish Paste tomato has a balance of acid and sweetness. When it is sliced fresh the juicy flesh sparkles and has a solid texture.
