Persimmon Tomato is a highly recommended indeterminate heirloom that was first grown by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello in 1781. To this day, it is the most flavourful & reliable yellow/orange tomato available. A beautiful, beefsteak type that produces large 1 lb Fruits that are delicious, juicy, and have a firm texture with few blemishes. The plants have good disease resistance, are prolific producers and grow strong, vigorous vines.

Sow ¼ “ deep, 1“ apart. Transplant to 24” apart. Plants require staking. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Harden off young plants for 10 days. Transplant outdoors to moist soil or direct sow after last frost. Water deeply for healthy roots & large harvests.
